The visual detection process takes a few seconds, minimizing downtime and human resource involvement.
The UV-A BioDTex lamp is a detection device designed to detect biofilm and other contaminants (e.g., Listeria, E. coli, Salmonella) in real-time. It is used in food processing, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical plants. The device is particularly useful in the process of controlling the sterility of production environments, validating the effectiveness of cleaning processes, monitoring the cleanliness of equipment and surfaces that come into contact with food, and finally during sanitary and hygienic audits.
BioDTex
identification of problematic areas on production lines,
monitoring of the sanitary process,
documentation of compliance with hygiene standards.
Key features of the BioDTex lamp
Mobility. Its compact and ergonomic design allows for easy operation in the field. It is perfect for checking cleanliness in large facilities and hard-to-reach places.
Powered by a lithium-ion battery. It operates on an efficient battery, providing up to 4.5 hours of uninterrupted work, which is important when working in areas without power sources.
Built-in camera. The BioDTex lamp is integrated with a 12 MP camera and a 2.8-inch display. The high-resolution camera is helpful for creating documentation or inspection reports.
BioDTex can operate both independently and with ATP testing systems. Unlike the ATP test, which requires physical contact with the surface during manual sampling, the BioDTex lamp enables contactless detection of contaminants.
Application of BioDTex
Pharmaceutical industry: monitoring environmental sterility in production areas.
Environment: studies on the impact of biofilms on water treatment systems.
Food industry: monitoring the cleanliness of equipment and surfaces contacting food.
Healthcare and HoReCa: monitoring and preventing microbiological contamination.
Cleaning companies: validation of cleaning effectiveness.
Chemical industry: assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfecting agents.
